This close to Christmas, I hear the same thing from alot of people. “Things are tight right now”, I shutter everytime I hear those words. I think about their families, spouses, & children. I wonder what will their Christmas be like?

I’ve been there. Like it was yesterday, I remember a X-mas a few years ago where my wife & I were struggling. With 3 little ones anticipating the holiday, we had a total of $200 to spend.

Now you and I both know that Christmas is not supposed to be about the presents, but try selling that story to a 2,4,&7 year old. It doesn’t go over so well.

My wife, bless her heart did as good as she possibly could with the money she had available. However when X-mas rolled around and the kids starting opening gifts, it was over in a few minutes. Although the kids never said anything, you could see a little disappointment in their faces.

I believe any good parent wants their children to have as much as possible. Maybe not spoil them rotten, but let them have that one memory once a year where they were spoiled on that one day.

That day was breaking point. I had enough, we were working our backsides off and for what? $200 for x-mas? That wasn’t going to cut it.

Maybe Im all alone here, has anyone else gone through this?

I started searching for anything that would bring in an income or extra money.

Have you ever stayed up late at night and watched those infomercials and wondered, “who would ever buy this junk?”. Well, that’s me. I bought into all kinds of crap. It always seemed that every program I became involved in always had something missing. Like they were not telling me everything, or just leading me to an even bigger purchase.

One program intially cost me $80. I received the information, then the calls started coming in. Offering all these other services that would “garuantee” the success of my new little business. I deciced to take a plunge and buy everything that they had to offer. Doing this was supposed to put my program on auto-pilot, and all I had to do was collect a check.

6 months and $4000- four thousand dollars later, I had not made ONE cent! I poured everything I had and didn’t have into this thing and it practically crushed me. Needless to say I just about jumped onto the “everything is a scam” train.

Who would of blamed me?

I didn’t understand then, that there were simple little ways to earn money online. All I had to do was find the right people to talk to. I’m glad that I didn’t give up then, or I never would have made it to where I am now.

Christmas is different now. We asked our kids to make up lists, and it is so exciting that the only diffulculty is simply going out to pick up the gifts. I’m proud that the only concern my wife and I have is how are going to get it all to fit in the area the tree is in. I think part of our Christmas will be celebrated in the garage.

I truly do not say these things to offend you or to try to impress you.

I simply want you to have these same or similar experiences.

You may not think so, but I would love to be in your position now. I had to spend countless hours and money, finding ways to earn online. Now, it’s not uncommon for people to start earning money there first day.

Do you think you could become successful if you could watch videos showing you exactly what to do and how to do it?

How about if you had access to a live support desk? I mean real people.

Only you can decide if you are ready.

The flood of counterfeit goods into the United States from the Far East, and especially China and India, has reached all time highs and is creating significant economic damage at home. This incredibly damaging, criminal activity is spurring the development of IP protective measures, such as security holograms.
Hologram Image

No-one wins when counterfeit products reach the market – the consumer buys goods which are not what they thought they were, while there may be serious consumer safety issues involved. Meanwhile, the manufacturer reaps the adverse reward of negative press and consumer comments because the counterfeit clings like a parasite to their brand image and reputation. The retail distributor finds they have goods they cannot sell and quite possibly, legal consequences of holding counterfeit products they ought not to have in the first instance.

The issue is how to protect your own brand and intellectual property in a cost effective manner, and at the same time, ensure security measures are in place which will deter counterfeiters from using your product as the basis for a counterfeit operation. The analogy of a homeowner ensuring all the doors and windows are locked, whilst fitting a highly visible alarm system to deter opportunistic thieves, is very appropriate in this context.

By applying a low-cost security device, design detail or production element to your product, you are making it harder for counterfeiters to profitably reproduce your goods. Security holograms provide an excellent method for separating your product from the competition, and counterfeiters will be assessing a range of products to see which is simpler, cheaper and most profitable for them to replicate. Making it more difficult to create a good imitation of your product by the counterfeiters, reduces the risk your product will be targeted by to begin with.

Security holograms can be produced as 2D or 3D images, the design of which is extremely difficult and costly for a counterfeiter to copy. You can use the hologram on the packaging (where it can act as a tamper evident safety feature) or place them on the actual product themselves. The presence of a security hologram acts in exactly the same was as a homeowner’s alarm system – it warns potential thieves to steer clear and try their hand at another product which is easier (and cheaper) to counterfeit.

The reasons why security holograms are highly effective in acting as a deterrent to counterfeiting, are because they are cost effective, deliver multiple security functions and can be easily customized and applied to your products or to protect other intellectual property you own.

Security holograms provide a highly visible guarantee that the goods are genuine and are not seeking to hoodwink customers with fake branding; in this regard, holograms are powerful components of your brand identity if you include them. Further security functions they perform include providing evidence the goods have not been tampered with and where they are used in conjunction with the brand image itself, they serve to protect the intellectual property which a brand represents. The hologram itself can be subjected to fast and effective optical validation, which provides an additional layer of protection for your goods and reputation as well as being an additional mechanism to convey data such as stock and handling information.

Security holograms cannot be copied using photocopiers or computer scanners, which is a favorite technique utilized by counterfeiters. It is also apparent when a hologram is real or not, given the ability to present a moving image to the viewer – the only way a counterfeiter can get around this security barrier is to source counterfeit holograms. This is prohibitively expensive to do, or the alternative, to leave the hologram off their counterfeit products, quickly serves to mark them out as not genuine.

As counterfeit products rise and the ability of the fraudsters to deceive the consumer increases, it is vital for companies to protect their brand and reputation. Security holograms are cheap to produce, and very simple to apply and manage through the distribution chain. The simple presence of a security hologram is enough to deter many counterfeiters from even attempting to replicate your product, which makes it easier to target those counterfeiters who are attacking your intellectual property rights and reputation.

Effect of Air Polution

When we contemplate air pollution, most of us think that the air is okay. That is, if we don’t see a colored haze hanging above our heads or black particles raining on our towns. But poor air quality, like a virus, can’t always appear to the naked eye. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is a sort of measuring stick used by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and it has proven this fact.

There are many types of pollution hogging our air space; these thieves silently enter our bodies and cause disease over time, illnesses such as bronchitis, lung cancer and heart defects. Additionally, pollution threatens plants and trees, destroy animals and takes over water streams where fish get contaminated.

Sulfur dioxide (SO2) is a compound that comes from volcanoes, which we may have very little control over. It is also created by varying industrial processes, such as coal and petroleum. Nitrogen dioxide (NO2) comes out when a mixture of air and fuel becomes hot as is found in the emissions from internal combustion engines of our cars and SUVs and industrial equipment. In low doses, these two compounds have a small effect but in cities with many factories and loads of cars, the results can become overwhelming to our air.

28 eastern US states have been found to hold high amounts of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen oxides in their air because of the heavy industry in this area. So, in 2005, the EPA came up with a new rule, the Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR), which is to reduce sulfur dioxide by 70% and all nitrogen oxides by 60% by 2015. Apparently this would reduce health costs by a couple billion dollars and maybe help prevent premature death.

Acid rain is another example of how we never see what exists in our atmosphere. Acid deposition, as we also call it, is caused when compounds of sulphur, nitrogen, and carbon combine with precipitation in the atmosphere and produce acids. Acid rain pollution is also measured regularly and its major cause is the power we consume in our regular, modern lives. Coal, oil and natural gas all play a major role in creating this dirty air. One or all of these fossil fuels is used to power electricity generation, and it would be impossible to live without this usual necessity today in the first world.

The weight we place on renewable fuels is starting to be manifest itself on our environment and we may wonder if reversing accumulated damage too late? The air has been taking a beating for over a hundred years now and the changing health of millions of residents is beginning to show. The US EPA was formed in 1970 and nowadays has 17,000 employees, all of whom work hard to educate people, conduct research, and find ways to decrease and monitor pollution levels thereby keeping the public safe. Ideally.

Now that we have the basic facts, it’s time to focus on what to do afterwards. We might need a combined effort from the United States and other nations in order to undo what we have abused in the past. Start with your own immediate area and community and become involved. The more you learn, the more you shall understand the importance of the air quality now and forever in the future.
